At the Hub we opened a community pantry where members of the community pay a small annual membership of £6.00 followed by a weekly cost of £2.50.
We also have on occasions slow cooker packs and extras that do for an additional donation.
For this small fee they can visit the shop to pick up a range of groceries, green groceries and toiletries.
The environment within the pantry is that of any other shop where you choose what you want. No stigma is attached to anyone who visits and we welcome donations from a range of sources.
G52 is run purely on donations and grants obtained from other charitable organisations.
We work closely with other community groups and local agencies to provide a twice weekly hot meal service to local residents who may otherwise struggle.
We also provide a range of various activities throughout the year from family craft days, to trips to the seaside and everything and anything in between.
